The Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS)/American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) Washington Office issued a press release on Nov. 27 urging Congress to pass the Medicare Patient Access and Practice Stabilization Act of 2024 (H.R. 10073) before the conclusion of the 118th Congress.

On July 26, the House Ways and Means Committee advanced legislation — the Health Care Transparency Act (H.R.4822) — to reform prior authorization in the Medicare Advantage (MA) program.
