    Complimentary Housing for CNS Resident Members

    Complimentary housing at the CNS Annual Meeting is available to a limited number of CNS Resident members and International Resident members on a first-come, first-served basis. 

    To be considered for this program, members must register for the CNS Annual Meeting and select that they are interested in Resident Housing. Registering for the 2026 CNS Annual Meeting is the only way to apply for Resident Housing. You must be registered by August 16, 2026, to be considered. A CNS Staff member will reach out with further information once you have applied.

    Sergeant-at-Arms

    Residents, Fellows, and Medical Students, choose to participate in the Sergeant-at-Arms (SAA) Program at the 2026 CNS Annual Meeting and attend your assigned course for free!

    When registering for the meeting, click the box to volunteer as a Sergeant-at-Arms. This program is first-come, first-served with only one opportunity per course.

    Resident CNS SANS Challenge

    CNS is thrilled to host the annual CNS SANS Challenge for neurosurgical residency programs! Don't miss your chance to compete in this game-show style event as teams battle for undisputable SANS bragging rights, trophies, and cash prizes! Want to participate? Talk to your program director and assemble a team to complete the SANS Challenge Qualifying Exam between May 25 and July 6. The top 12 qualifying teams will be invited to participate in the competition. The SANS Challenge reflects a milestones-based assessment, uses peer-vetted questions, and accurately represents the high educational standards SANS has brought to neurosurgery self-assessment and education for more than a decade.
