The Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) is pleased to offer a limited number of $500 travel stipends to assist CNS Medical Student Members with travel and lodging expenses related to attending the 2026 CNS Annual Meeting in Washington, DC. These stipends are made possible by a generous donation from Mohamad Bydon, MD, Chair, University of Chicago Department of Neurosurgery.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be current CNS Medical Student Members.
- Applicants must be registered to attend the CNS Annual Meeting.
- Travel stipends are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis while funding is available.
Award Information
Recipients will receive a $500 travel stipend to help offset travel and accommodation costs associated with attending the 2026 CNS Annual Meeting.
Recipients will be notified directly by CNS if they have been selected.
Travel Stipend Distribution
Selected recipients are expected to attend the CNS Annual Meeting and must pick up their travel stipend check in person at the CNS Experience Lounge during one of the following times:
- Monday, November 2: 8:15 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, November 3: 8:15 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, November 4: 8:15 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Checks will only be distributed during these designated hours.
